About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: ICU experience with ventilator and cardiovascular drips Description: The ICU unit has 30 beds. There are approximately 82 staff members. Staff includes 2 charge nurses and 15 nurses, depending on patient acuity and needs. Patient ratios can be 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1. Equipment includes CRRT, IABP, and Impella, though these are not mandatory for contracts. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates must have ICU experience specifically with ventilators and cardiovascular drips. Neuro experience is preferred. Typical procedures performed include thoracentesis, arterial line placement, and central line placement. The dress code requires royal blue scrubs. The schedule requires four weekend shifts per month, with no on-call obligations. This position is for one registered nurse.
