Travel Registered Nurse OB GYN Job

Overview
Registered Nurse, OB/GYN — Boston, MA. Travel - temporary assignment starting 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts. Pay range: $2,263–$2,438 per week (posted rate). Local candidates residing within 50 miles from the facility will be at a local rate, which is $10 less per week than the posted bill rate. The RN will provide care in an OB/GYN department that encompasses antenatal and prenatal services, gynecologic procedures, oncology, reproductive endocrinology, and maternal-fetal medicine, along with general gynecology. The role supports nursing assessment, treatment planning, interventions, and coordination of care for patients and their families in outpatient OB/GYN and related areas.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans for OB/GYN patients and their families.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer prescribed medications, and support analgesia/monitoring needs, including conscious sedation when required.
- Assist with gynecologic procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure care in relevant units, with attention to patient safety and comfort.
- Provide triage, patient education, and discharge planning; coordinate care across prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care pathways.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and support staff to ensure timely communication and continuity of care; document care activities according to policy and regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Active MA RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate required
- 2+ years of outpatient OB/GYN experience, including conscious sedation and termination services
- Ability to work in outpatient OB/GYN and related care settings; strong assessment and coordination skills

Education
- Current Massachusetts RN licensure

Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate
