Job Description: Successful candidates will perform MIG and/or TIG welding in a manufacturing environment. Work requires the ability to fit and/or weld on jigs and fixtures for all production requirements. Knowledge of FCAW, GMAW, or aluminum welding processes is preferred. Essential Duties: Lay out, fit, and weld steel and aluminum fabricated components to manufacture weldments and sub-assemblies utilizing established welding processes Weld on medium and/or large fabrications in jig fixtures including fitting, welding, and fabrication Perform welding in multiple positions including overhead, flat, vertical, and horizontal Properly set up and adjust welding equipment according to blueprints, drawings, and weld procedure specifications Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and welding specifications Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet project deadlines Qualifications: Formal education or training in welding preferred Minimum of one (1) year of TIG welding experience preferred; all levels of experience will be considered Ability to interpret blueprints and weld symbols and fit/weld according to print specifications Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Successful candidates will be certified through JWF Industries JWF Industries is a federal contractor and safety-sensitive employer.
