IT Business Partner

Principal Activities Provide strategic and tactical leadership, Strategic Thinking, Contributor to Business Needs Provider of recommendations to improve business processes through IT solutions Researches and recommends system development priorities Documentation and maintenance of SOX related matters Proactive and forward thinking towards the business objectives Departmental Reporting Departmental Budget planning and tracking Project Management, Project Planning and plan organization /development Adherence and upholding of corporate IT standards and policies Drive IT metrics (helpdesk, downtime measurements, deliveries, etc) Candidate Requirements High ethical standards. General knowledge of Business Processes, Network Technologies, AD environments, VM environments, TCP/IP, VOIP, Microsoft Office Products, and other applicable tools for both infrastructure and ERP, and PLM systems. Understanding of manufacturing business processes is helpful, but not mandatory. Ability to provide cross-functional and organizational leadership within a highly matrix organization. Demonstrated aptitude for process improvement. Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to coach, assess, evaluate, develop, motivate and empower others. Oversee IT projects and operations at multiple facilities. Education and Experience Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related technical/management field or experienced considered 5+ years of supervisory experience within an IT Department Other US Citizen This position is on site in Monroe, NC.
