Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist, you help patients get well. You will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy. You are a healer and an educator, teaching patients and caregivers skills to promote independence and productivity. You collaborate with peers, make referrals, and design individualized programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities. You adapt to patient needs and thrive in varied settings. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license and eligibility. Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, or a related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy with five years of progressively responsible PT experience. Evaluation of physical therapy degrees earned outside the U.S. to a U.S. equivalent.
