Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide.SUMMARYWesterman, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager with a proven ability to troubleshoot advanced mechanical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. This position is responsible for preventative and mechanical maintenance and must possess advanced knowledge of machine repair. A successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met. To be considered, candidates must have knowledge of Profilers and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) as well as previous Maintenance and supervisory experience.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty or responsibility satisfactorily. Regular and punctual attendance is required of all employees.Complete mechanical repairs and makes adjustments as needed.Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned and required.Successfully troubleshoot mechanical problems.Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Perform all facility maintenance that is required including yard, janitorial maintenance, and snow removal etc.Maintain and Verify Company Assets.Perform all duties safely and provide assistance to Safety Department when needed.Direct and Supervise 1-5 Maintenance Technicians.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 5 years work experience in a related craft requiredMinimum 3 years of manufacturing experience requiredMinimum of 2 years demonstrated supervisory experience requiredMust have knowledge of Profilers and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)Advanced electrical knowledge requiredAdvanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing requiredAdvanced mechanical skills requiredAdvanced problem-solving skills, safety practices, and attention to detail and quality requiredMust be capable of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic printsIntermediate math skills requiredMeter usage and ability to complete measurements requiredBasic computer skills required – MS Word and MS Excel; Epicor preferredAbility to interact in a positive and professional manner with management and other employees to achieve goalsDemonstrated ability to support, promote, and adhere to the Westerman philosophy and Code of ConductDriving is an essential function of the job; clean driving record is requiredMay require CPR and first aid trainingPHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
