Bookkeeper

Calling all bookkeepers! Manpower is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to maintain financial records at a local manufacturing warehouse. These records include purchases, payroll, sales, receipts, tax returns, and payments. This is a high level position, temp-to-permanent, with a competitive salary and good benefits offered.
**Responsibilities**
+ Recording daily financial transactions, checking account records for accuracy, updating general ledger, and preparing trial balances for perusal by management.
+ Maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance.
+ Monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist managers in making strategic decisions.
+ Run payroll, generate purchase orders, and audit invoices.
+ Backup customer service duties by generating sales orders.
+ Light typing and filing.
+ Maintaining a system for organizing company documents.
**Qualifications and Skills**
+ Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
+ Competence in accounting systems: Great Plains experience preferred, QuickBooks experience also accepted
+ Attention to detail
+ Expertise in Microsoft Excel
+ Experience with PNL statements
+ Data Entry Skills
+ Organized
+ Honest
+ The ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive documents
+ Professional with good spelling, writing, and grammar skills
