Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Architect to lead the design and evolution of a modern, scalable Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem for a major retail client. This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for owning the SFCC roadmap and delivering high-performance, omnichannel commerce solutions. The architect will partner closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate retail priorities into resilient technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Salesforce Commerce Cloud architecture roadmap end-to-end
Design scalable integrations across OMS, ERP, CRM, inventory, and payment systems
Lead API-first and microservices architecture across the commerce ecosystem
Drive adoption of headless commerce and cloud-native solutions on AWS or Azure
Ensure performance, security, and compliance across high-traffic retail environments
Provide technical leadership to onshore and offshore engineering teams

Required Qualifications

10+ years in eCommerce architecture
Strong, current expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware)
Proven experience with enterprise retail integrations (OMS, ERP, CRM, inventory)
Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and AWS or Azure
Track record leading large-scale eCommerce implementations
Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
US-based, authorized to work without sponsorship, aligned to CT or ET hours

Preferred Qualifications

Headless and composable commerce architecture experience
Omnichannel retail background (BOPIS, ship-from-store)
DevOps, CI/CD, and performance optimization exposure
Salesforce B2C Commerce certifications
