Radiologic Technologist PRN | Variable Shifts (M-F) | VCH

Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic procedures on patients of all ages, operating equipment, processing images, preparing rooms, and handling related clerical tasks. The role is performed with independent judgment and follows radiation protection and regulatory compliance. The position may include direct supervision of students. Shift Variable shift/schedule. PRN shift requirement | flexible availability M-F | Dayshift (8:00am – 5:00pm) and Mid‑shift (2:30pm – 11:00pm). Key Responsibilities Operate all radiographic equipment, perform all radiological procedures, and utilize PACS per department standards. Identify each patient and review orders for consistency with the examination ordered. Review each examination for technical accuracy, present completed examination to the Radiologist, and communicate pertinent data to care providers. Organize patient care and set priorities, ensuring critical care first and implementing the physician’s orders. Deliver care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent manner to meet age‑specific guidelines from infancy to geriatrics. Adhere to all department/hospital safety procedures for patient and material handling. Understand and adhere to the Compliance and Ethics Program. Qualifications Certification: LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Licensure-Others . Experience level: Less than 1 year. Education: Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program (Required). Relevant work experience.
