Systems Engineer IIThe Effectors Center within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization is currently hiring a Systems Engineer II to join our Tucson, AZ location. SE&TC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi-disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers. The Systems Engineer II is a technical role contributing directly to the requirements development and decomposition of complex subsystems as well as developing the verification approach. This is a On-site position in Tucson, AZWhat You Will Do:Support testing and data analysis for various areas of production.Develop and maintain requirements, systems architecture and design, updating and maintaining Interface definitions & description documents by collaborating with multiple IPTLs and SMEs to obtain necessary design information.Work with Suppliers and the Supply Chain organization for procured items managed through the role of Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for that AssemblySupport Statistical Process Control assessments in the factory and as part of hardware verification of the Missile Guidance sections as well as higher level assembliesSupport flight test activities both in potential field support, telemetry analysis post-flight, and writing test reportsGain SE technical expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigationsSupport technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplinesSupport peer reviews and formal release of Technical Data Package documents.Expect travel on occasion (~10% time maximum)Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experienceExperience with systems engineeringExperience performing requirements definition, decomposition, and changesQualifications We Prefer:Experience with cPDM, CCB, and document release experience (engineering and formal release)Ability to work independently and work with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, and other program stakeholders to make informed technical design decisions.Experience with system and sub-system level requirements development, design and documentation of system level software architectureExperience demonstrating your communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills with customers and leading technical solutions to complex user needsAbility to manage multiple and competing prioritiesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and proceduresFamiliarity with DoD customer infrastructure and Systems Engineering Product Development CycleWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
