Sr. Workday Integration Developer

Technical Member Of Digital Transformation Team

As a technical member of the digital transformation team candidate will be responsible for Workday Integration Design and Development. As a member of this team, you will take direction from Architect and Project Lead(s) on development and platform activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements, including data exchange, transformation, and workflow automation.

Design, develop, and implement custom integrations between Workday and external systems (payment gateways) using Workday's integration tools and technologies.

Create and configure integration connectors, and custom web services to support data synchronization and process automation.

Ensure the integration solutions adhere to best practices, security standards, and comply with data privacy regulations.

Troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve integration-related problems.

Provide technical guidance, promote knowledge sharing, and foster a collaborative environment.

Create technical documentation including integration design specifications, integration mappings, and test plan.

Conduct integration testing, including unit testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure successful deployment and minimize system disruptions.

Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.

Understand integration Architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, etc.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required, Master's degree preferred.

10+ years of integration experience.

Extensive experience as a Workday Integrations Developer, with a focus on building complex integrations within the Workday ecosystem.

In-depth knowledge of Workday's integration tools and technologies, such as EIB, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and Workday Cloud Connect.

Knowledge of Integrating Workday with payment gateways (PayTrace, Card Point, Paya, Transax, Authorize.net, Stripe, PayPal, BlueFin, Card Connect, Braintree, NMI) - A MUST.

Proven experience with integration design patterns, error handling, and exception management.

Experience with web services standards (SOAP, REST) and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML).

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex integration issues, providing timely resolutions.

Understanding of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.

Experience with RESTful architecture principles and their applicability, and foundational skills like XML, SOAP, JSON, Web Services, AMQP/JMS.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to own and drive things to closure.

Demonstrated accountability & execution fulfillment.

Experience communicating effectively to all levels of the organization (SLT, Management, Peers, etc.)

Change Agent with the ability to drive compliance, protocols, & standardization.

Strong business acumen and a successful track record in aligning with customers.

Strong organizational skills – the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
