Systems AdministratorAbacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide Endpoint Security (ESS) support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities include managing suites of products such as Trellix Agent, Trellix Application and Change Control, ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS) which includes Threat Prevention and Firewall, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Policy Auditor (PA), and Rogue System Detection (RSD). The role involves deploying, configuring, documenting, monitoring, maintaining, upgrading, and analyzing data generated by the McAfee/Trellix ePO console, as well as troubleshooting product issues, outages on systems, or errors/latency traced to ESS suite across live enclaves. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will provide network administrators and security personnel with mechanisms to prevent, detect, track, report, and remediate malicious computer related activities and incidents across DoD networks and information systems adhering to ESS working groups and community of practices. The role also requires recording configurations, conducting assessments, specifying proper types of files organization, indexing methods, security procedures and submitting suggestions to ESS schedule(s), agents, scan zones, and endpoint repository management.Qualifications include 3+ years experience with EndPoint Security solutions. HS diploma or GED. Must be Security+ certified. Must hold the following certifications: ESS 201 Administrator and ESS 301 Advanced Administrator. Extensive with EndPoint Security including Trellix Application and change control (application whitelisting). Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, and an ability to conceptualize server infrastructures and configurations. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
