Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is available in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role involves supporting cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures with expertise in setting up operative suites, scrubbing cases, and managing room turnovers. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Wausau, WI
• Shift: 8-hour variable shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree or Certificate preferred; CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); BLS certification; 2+ years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience; prior travel experience preferred; must be flexible, motivated, resilient, and able to manage change.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate in relevant field.
• Schedule: 8-hour variable shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation. The traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit may be closed. The contract includes 36 hours of unbillable low census hours. Travelers may be on call, with callback minimums of 2 hours. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times per organizational policy. Violations may result in corrective actions.
• Float: May be required to float to all central organization locations as needed.
• Vaccinations: Flu and COVID-19 vaccines required; mask-wearing policies enforced during flu season.
