Junior Electrical Estimator

Erwin Electric, Inc is currently seeking a Junior Electrical Estimator in the Tampa Bay Area. This person will assist in various tasks related to electrical systems while maintaining industry standards while contributing to the execution of projects. We offer: Top pay and excellent benefits package, including Health, Dental, and Vision plans Employee group discount program, rewards Consistent full-time work Reputable and stable company that has been in business for 25+ years Employee Assistance Program Paid vacation and holidays 401K with company match Duties and Responsibilities Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects Perform and validate electrical take-offs from drawings and specifications Coordinate the input parameters for cost estimates Assist in compiling information from all estimating disciplines into one cost estimate Request and track pricing from vendors and subcontractors Help prepare bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation Establish site‑specific estimating criteria including wage and person‑hour productivity rates Provide innovative solutions for construction, estimating issues and problems Review design documents such as specifications, change orders, and contract modifications Qualifications Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods The ability to comprehend construction blueprints Experience with Accubidor or similar estimating software is highly desirable Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr Erwin Electric, Inc.
