Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilizing advanced radiographic and CT techniques to produce superior diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Collaborating closely with radiologists and the wider healthcare team to ensure precise diagnoses
- Positioning patients accurately and calibrating equipment to achieve optimal imaging results
- Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues
- Maintaining meticulous records, including detailed imaging logs and routine equipment maintenance
- Delivering compassionate care throughout the imaging process, ensuring patient comfort and clarity
- Contributing to a safe, organized, and efficient environment in the imaging suite
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is necessary; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiology program is required
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography mandatory
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days from the hire date
- In-depth knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety practices
- Exceptional communication abilities for engaging with patients and interdisciplinary teams
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility to adjust to evolving needs
- A detailed, accountable mindset that prioritizes patient well-being
- Technological proficiency with PACS, RIS, and current imaging software
