Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Riverside, CA

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Therapeutic Area Specialist to promote cardiovascular medicines across Southern California. The role involves field-based engagement with healthcare providers, building scientific credibility, and driving appropriate medicine adoption through differentiated customer experience and clinical dialogue.

Responsibilities

  • Promote BMS cardiovascular products within assigned territory to meet sales targets compliantly
  • Develop and implement comprehensive territory and account plans using analytical tools
  • Conduct scientific presentations and speaker programs on product information with healthcare providers
  • Maintain expertise on emerging clinical data and coordinate real-time medical support
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with field teams and share customer insights internally

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree or 5+ years pharma/biotech sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing experience
  • Ability to communicate scientific and clinical data accurately to physicians
  • Demonstrated track record building credibility with customers and influencers
  • Cardiovascular disease experience preferred
  • Proven account management and sales performance meeting or exceeding targets
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with positive team mindset
  • Strong selling and promotional skills with documented performance history
