Below is our premier job posting. We are also looking for Family Law Attorneys in the East Bay and a litigation attorney in Burlingame.

Our client a prestigious boutique law firm and is now accepting applications for a senior level litigation associate to join a team of experienced attorneys. This is a wonderful firm to work for and work life balance with no billable hour requirements. Mostly remote but we need a local person who can do occasional court appearances.

HOURS, LOCATION, AND BENEFITS

Fully remote (preferred) except for hearings which require in-person attendance

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Represent clients in: Real Estate and Business-related litigation matters, including contract disputes. Case Management: Oversee and manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines. Drafting: Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents. Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Depositions: Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses, clients, and experts to gather relevant information and evidence. Prepare witnesses for depositions and provide guidance on effective testimony. Communications: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on their cases. ADR: Negotiate settlements and facilitate alternative dispute resolutions when appropriate. Appearances: Appear and represent clients in court hearings, trials, and administrative hearings.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies and ensuresmooth case management and client service.

Continuing Education: Engage in continuing legal education and professionaldevelopment opportunities. Stay up to date with the latest legal developments and precedents in the relevant practice areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school

Active license to practice law in California, and in good standing

7+ years of experience in litigation

Preference for candidates with experience in real estate matters

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a professional demeanor

Maintain confidentiality in all client matters

Ability to work independently and engage critical-thinking skills

Exceptional research and writing skills

Exceptional organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and prioritize workload efficiently.

Collaborative team player who thrives in a small office setting.

Advanced software skills and proficiency

COMPENSATION

$205,000/year plus benefits
