Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Shift : 5:30am-4:00pm Mon-Thurs (Overtime avilable Fri/Sat)

Pay: $18-$25/hr based on skills/experience

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will begin each day meeting with the team lead to outline daily objectives. The role involves preventive maintenance and repairing down equipment, focusing on the electrical components of the facility, plumbing, HVAC systems, and CNC equipment. A significant part of the job requires troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with 80% of the tasks being preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on doors, compressors, and air tools.
• Repair toilets, sinks, urinals, light bulbs, air fittings, and change AC filters.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance routines on all plant equipment and facilities, including machine tools, hand power tools, power lifts, air conditioning systems, and air supplies.
• Review and maintain records of preventive maintenance performed, investigating unusual notations for wear of parts and repair requirements.
• Apply lubricants and grease fittings as necessary.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in preventive maintenance and HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and facility maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Work Environment

The work environment is an open-air manufacturing facility, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The position is for the 1st shift, operating from 5:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday. Overtime is voluntary but typically available, often scheduled for Friday and/or Saturday from 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with additional opportunities for overtime during the week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.60 - $25.00/hr.
