A supportive leadership team that values creativity and encourages teachers to make learning fun Your Day Will Include ✨ Planning engaging, play-based lessons that encourage kindergarten readiness. ✨ Teaching early literacy, phonics, math, science, and social studies through fun, hands-on experiences. ✨ Helping children build confidence, independence, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of learning. ✨ Supporting social and emotional development by teaching kindness, friendship, teamwork, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution. ✨ Creating a classroom where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to explore. ✨ Building strong partnerships with families through daily communication. ✨ Maintaining a clean, organized classroom while following Ohio licensing requirements. - Experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CDA, Associate Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day, including sitting on the floor, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and participating in indoor and outdoor activities.
