Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Critical Need

Location: North Adams, Massachusetts
Compensation: $44–$55/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours/Week

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in North Adams, Massachusetts . This is a critical-need full-time opportunity at a skilled nursing facility (SNF) for a clinician who wants to make a meaningful difference while enjoying flexibility around their schedule.

The position offers approximately 35 hours per week , with the center open to discussing different weekday and weekend scheduling arrangements with the right candidate.

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals

• Provide skilled speech-language therapy using evidence-based practices

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate

• Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, and other healthcare professionals

• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies

• Communicate patient progress and recommendations to the care team

• Promote patient safety, independence, communication, and quality of life

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Current Massachusetts SLP license or eligibility for licensure

• ASHA certification or eligibility preferred

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Willingness to discuss flexible scheduling arrangements
