Applications Engineer I

In this role you will provide technical engineering support to the sales channel related to the Tank Management product portfolio in our Pressure Management (PRM) business unit. You will be a part of a collaborative and highly performing team of Applications Engineers that are focused on providing our customers with world-class experience. This role is customer-facing, and you will be involved with a wide range of responsibilities like technical support, improvement projects and presenting to various audiences. You will collaborate and partner with Regional Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Engineering functions and be responsible for managing your workload to ensure timely and accurate resultAs an Applications Engineer you will:Prepare quotes for inquiries or projects that require technical knowledge and provide technical assistance to the sales channel concerning product applicability and installation practices Provide accurate and timely pricing and product support to our sales channel; this includes lead times, pricing, confirmation of purchase orders, as well as engineering and manufacturing developments affecting customer ordersCoordinate and participate in customer sales presentations and assist the development and presentation of product training for the sales channel, employees, and customersAccountable for insuring quotes and submittals are within profit and margin guidelines and within the time frame allottedUtilize sales skills to probe and build orders to outbound and inbound customersResponsible for sustaining and continuing product knowledge of existing and new products and applicationsFunction as a liaison between the sales channel and other internal departments (Marketing, Sales, Engineering)Who You AreYou persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks.
