Mold Maker/ Carpenter

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter / Mold Maker to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong carpentry experience who is interested in applying their craftsmanship to the creation of molds used in Glass Reinforced Gypsum (GRG) architectural elements. If you take pride in precision work, enjoy hands-on building, and have an eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: * Build and assemble high-quality molds using wood and other materials * Interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and design specifications * Measure, cut, shape, and construct mold components with precision * Work closely with production teams to ensure molds meet project requirements * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace * Repair and modify existing molds as needed Qualifications: * Strong background in carpentry, woodworking, or cabinet making * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Experience with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery * High attention to detail and craftsmanship * Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team * Prior experience with mold making or casting (plaster, fiberglass, or similar) is a plus but not required Preferred (Not Required): * Experience in architectural fabrication or ornamental plaster * Familiarity with GRG or similar materials * Shop or fabrication environment experience Company Description Moonlight Molds is a 40 year manufacturer of custom Architectural cast mouldings and sells to the construction industry.
