IT/ AV Technician

Description

Applied Materials is looking for someone to backfill the support team working in the EBC (executive briefing center). they need someone with great customer service experience and "could teach the AV side while on the job." They want to find a person earlier in their career - one eager to learn who they can mold and have for a long time. The most important thing is for them to be proactive. That means getting to the center early, testing out the room's wireless & hdmi, printing out guest wireless passes, etc. This person will be responsible for: - Providing support to the executives at Applied Materials in Santa Clara (Directors, VPs and C-level) - They will be repsonsible for conference room support and devices set up and management Technologies they use: - Crestron for their AV hardware - They do not have a ticketing system for this team. The executives reach out via Teams or email, via Outlook

- This person needs to have some exposure to working with executives in the past. - They NEED to have a proactive approach to their work. There is minimal hand holding and task direction during their day to day. When they have downtime, they are expected to ask the leads what they can help with or where they can provide additional support.

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, CA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
