Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate equipment used to test HVACR compressors. You will respond to maintenance requests, support shipping activities, provide parts to internal and external quality labs, and help keep testing operations running smoothly. You'll also serve as a technical resource for laboratory equipment and testing systems.As a Senior Calibration Technician, you will:Calibrate, install, troubleshoot, and upgrade Copeland Laboratory test standsCreate and update team proceduresProvide technical support for test equipment utilizing various PLC programming languages (Yokogawa, Redlion, and Mitsubishi), methods, and custom applicationsTravel to our manufacturing plants throughout the US and Mexico for annual calibration, audits, repairs, modifications, and maintenance of new and existing equipmentSchedule:This role is based fully onsite as a first-shift position with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.Required Education, Experience & Skills:Associates degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Systems Integration, or Controls related field plus five (5) years working in field or equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated knowledge integrating instruments and systemsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to travel domestically and internationally approximately 15% of the timeLegal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this rolePreferred Education, Experience & Skills:Associates degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Systems Integration, or Controls related field plus ten (10) years working in fieldETMS - Electronics Technician Maintenance SchoolExperience with AC power managementVarious PLC or other programming experienceWhy Work in the Greater Miami Valley AreaOur facility is located in Sidney, OH, conveniently located within driving distance to several larger cities, such as Dayton, Troy, and Columbus.
