CNC Programmer

Our client, an Advanced Manufacturing & Machining Industry is seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering Department supporting Combustion Product Line Operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and team collaboration which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Greenville, SC

Pay Range: $60.11/hr

What's the Job?

• Generate CNC Programs Create and maintain CNC programs using NX-CAM or similar software, including multi-axis milling, grinding, and/or EDM.

• Program Verification Verify new CNC programs using Vericut prior to release to the shop floor.

• On-Machine Probing Incorporate Renishaw probing cycles for part validation, process validation, and error trapping.

• Operator & ME Support Provide CNC programming and troubleshooting support; assist ME and operators during machine startup or process improvements.

• Process Improvement Initiate and lead projects to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

What's Needed?

• 5-Axis Programming Experience creating 5-axis CNC programs using CAM systems (preferably NX).

• Advanced Machine Controls Minimum 1 year with high-level controls including macros, Renishaw routines, variable-based programming, and CLM.

• Hands-On Machinist Background Ability to personally set up and prove out complex first-piece programs.

• Large-Format & Tight Tolerance Experience Proven ability to manage deflection, work hardening, and thermal stability.

• Superalloy Machining Extensive experience machining Inconel, Rene, Hastelloy, or similar materials used in HDGT or Aerospace.
