This long-term substitute assignment begins as soon as possible and is anticipated through December 2026, with potential for extension depending on staff leave status. This onsite role will provide essential ESL instruction across multiple school districts in Fayette and Washington Counties, creating meaningful impact for English Language Learners.

Ideal candidates will possess both a background in general education and specialized experience teaching ESL students at the school level. The position requires travel between assigned schools in the Brownsville, California, and Bethlehem Center areas, so candidates must be comfortable with the commute and flexible to meet the needs of students across more than one location.

Qualifications:

• Active PA Program Specialist ESL Certificate (required)
• Prior experience as a general education and/or ESL teacher in a school setting
• Understanding of language acquisition strategies and culturally responsive teaching
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse school teams
• Reliable transportation to commute between school districts within Fayette and Washington Counties
