Job Summary
The organization is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a dialysis unit position in Poulsbo, Washington. This chronic, in-center role involves overseeing dialysis treatments, providing patient education, supervising dialysis technicians, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires flexibility to work any day from Monday to Saturday, across various peninsula clinic locations.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have a current registered nurse (RN) license from the Washington State Board of Nursing or a Multi-State Compact Nurse license. Current certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card from the American Heart Association. Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, with previous dialysis experience required. Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing is preferred.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will oversee dialysis treatments at clinic locations on the peninsula, including Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Port Townsend. Responsibilities include adjusting treatment plans per standing orders, administering medications, monitoring patient outcomes, and engaging in quality improvement projects.
