About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Enterprise Monitoring & Observability to spearhead the development and leadership of its enterprise observability practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the observability vision, operating model, and multi-year platform roadmap, with a focus on driving modernization, automation, and operational intelligence. This pivotal role demands a leader with a strong technology background, proven people management skills, and a track record of transforming observability capabilities within a large, complex enterprise environment. Key responsibilities include building and maturing an enterprise-wide observability practice, owning observability platforms, establishing enterprise standards, and managing strategic technology partners. Applicants for the Head of Enterprise Monitoring & Observability position at the company should possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in relevant technology disciplines, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within enterprise-scale technology, engineering, platform, or operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of building or significantly enhancing an enterprise observability practice, as well as strong experience in defining and executing multi-year technology/platform roadmaps. Deep expertise in monitoring, observability, telemetry, and related areas is essential, along with hands-on experience in modern telemetry architectures. The role also requires a candidate with a proven ability to modernize technology stacks, rationalize tools, and implement automation and self-service capabilities.
