Our Ideal Registered Nurse will:
- Be a current resident of Florida.
- Have current registered nursing license by the State of Florida Board of Nursing.
- Have adolescent or children experience in a mental health field
Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse at St. Johns Youth Academy Include:
- Provides professional nursing care to patient/students by utilizing the nursing process and assists in implementing direct daily care of clients.
- Helps to develop an individualized treatment plan in conjunction with patient/student, family and multidisciplinary teams
- Identifies short and long term measurable goals, including discharge planning, consistent with patient/student care standards, nursing practice, and policies and procedures.
- Assesses patient/students upon admission and throughout hospitalization utilizing observational and interviewing skills
- All other duties as assigned
