We also provide personalized financial planning and investment services to help families succeed in every stage of life.Our Newest Opportunity: The Senior Accountant works with the Senior Director of Corporate Accounting, Accounting Manager, and other members of the Finance team, on month-end and year-end close processes, account reconciliations, acquisition research, as well as making adjustments to the general ledger.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Assist with the accounting for Intangible assets, acquisition accounting, capitalized software, accrued expense, accrued liability & other accounts;Prepare journal entries in accordance with monthly tasks assigned;Prepare associated reconciliation of accounts and research inconsistencies during month-end close process;Work with internal and external teams to obtain acquisition agreements and related documents;Analyze and interpret the details of acquisition agreements;Provide external auditors with documentation and explanations for annual audit;Prepare monthly consolidation, intercompany entries and research variances;Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsAdditional responsibilities assigned by management.Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;Ability to work independently and in a team environment;Excellent judgement and problem solving skills;Takes initiative to perform research and propose solutions;Must be self-motivated, disciplined, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.Education, Training and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Business with emphasis in Accounting, required; Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA, preferred;Minimum three years’ experience in Accounting, required;Must be highly skilled in use of Microsoft Office;Financial reporting experience, required;Basic understanding of GAAP, required;Experience with Dynamics GP, preferred; Experience with SEC reporting, strongly preferred.Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location.
