Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Interventional Radiology Rn NeededInterventional Radiology RN needed for 4x10hr shifts from 0730-1800 on weekdays, with on-call every 5th weekend. Orientation occurs every other week on Thursdays. The first two days will be in a class setting, followed by reporting to the unit and orientation there. Shift is 4x10hrs from 0730-1600 on weekdays. Patient ratio/population includes adults and geriatrics with staffing ratios of 1:1. Experience required is 2 years minimum. RN first-time travelers are allowed but must have interventional radiology experience. Weekend requirement is on-call every 5th weekend. Call requirement is on-call rotation, which will be discussed with the manager during the interview. Traveler could be floated to CAMC General Lab. CDL will not accommodate blocked schedules. 100mi. radius rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval). Can submit with pending license but must have WV RDCS - Adult license active to start assignment. RTO restrictions: none, must be included on profile at the time of submittal. Guaranteed hours: 40. Certifications required: BLS; ACLS. Special procedures/unit details include angiogram, fistulogram, permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, mechanical thrombectomy, embolization. Patient diagnoses include CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, CAD, stenosis, AAA, stroke, aneurysm. Submission requirements include perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 years after the last day worked perm. Flu shot: Please do not send anyone who refuses the flu shot without medical proof. CAMC requires all personnel to take the flu vaccine unless they have an allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC flu season is from October 1st to March 31st. Not required outside of that window. Covid vaccine not required.
