Senior Analytical Site Manager

Eurofins PSS seeks a Senior Analytical Site Manager to oversee GMP pharmaceutical testing operations in Albany, NY. The role involves leading analytical teams across multiple shifts, managing GMP compliance for raw materials through finished APIs, and supporting site operations and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and train analytical teams across rotating 24/7 shift schedules (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am)
- Conduct monthly performance reviews and business operations discussions with direct reports and managers
- Organize technical resources and personnel to meet client deadlines and quality metrics
- Support new site setup, team hiring, and employee onboarding and development
- Maintain current knowledge of analytical science and advise clients on technical matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science field, or equivalent laboratory experience
- 3+ years hands-on analytical chemistry laboratory experience
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities
- Demonstrated client service skills and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency with computer systems, scientific instruments, and organizational tools
- Excellent written and oral communication with attention to detail
- PhD in chemistry or related discipline preferred
Compensation: $115,000-$140,000 per year based on education and related lab and leadership experience
