Job Title: RN PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Cardiac Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Experience in medical and cardiac care - Knowledge of pre/post cardiovascular surgery - Familiarity with arrhythmia and heart failure management - Ability to care for stroke overflow patients Description: This position involves providing care to patients in a progressive cardiac care unit. The patient population includes those with medical conditions related to cardiac issues, pre/post cardiovascular surgery, arrhythmias, and heart failure. You will also manage stroke overflow patients. The unit comprises 28 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4-5. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
