Required Skills and Competencies:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
• Current Professional Educator Certification
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations regarding children with disabilities and special education programs
• Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent development, as well as assessment tools for cognitive, physical, medical, and psychological needs in children with disabilities
• Understanding of terminology related to physical and learning disabilities
• Analytical skills to interpret policies, laws, and data relevant to special education
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Preferred Credentials:

• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
• ABSESPA Licensure

Role Overview:

• School-based, onsite position (no telepractice/voco options)
• Caseload and assigned school site determined based on organizational need and student population
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to evaluate and address student needs in speech and language
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation and progress reports
