Welder Fabricator

Job Description Job Description A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques and equipment. They read blueprints, prepare materials, operate welding tools, inspect completed work, and ensure all projects meet safety and quality standards. Hours for the position are from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Overtime is available on Saturday from 8-12. Responsibilities Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting materials. Perform welding using methods such as MIG Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects. Operate welding equipment and related tools safely. Follow workplace safety regulations and wear required protective equipment. Measure and align workpieces using hand and power tools. Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder/Fabricator is required Knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties, and fabrication methods. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Physical stamina Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
