Manager - Transaction Advisory (Financial Due Diligence)

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading advisory firm to identify a Manager to join their Transaction Advisory (Financial Due Diligence) team . This team supports private equity sponsors and corporate clients across buy-side and sell-side transactions, providing critical financial analysis to inform deal strategy, valuation, and risk assessments.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced role offering direct exposure to M&A transactions and the opportunity to lead high-impact engagements in a team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day execution of multiple financial due diligence engagements across buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and target company stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
• Manage engagement teams, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of key outputs
• Present findings and insights to clients, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key transaction considerations
• Balance multiple engagements by prioritizing effectively and stepping into detailed execution when needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee financial due diligence analyses, including:
• Quality of earnings
• Net working capital and cash flow analysis
• Identification of financial and operational risks
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights that inform valuation and deal structure
• Maintain high standards for deliverables, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and client-ready
• Mentor and develop team members by providing coaching, feedback, and guidance on technical and professional development
• Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and successful engagement execution

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree required
• CPA required
• 5+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Prior experience in a transaction advisory or due diligence practice strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting concepts
• Experience in financial due diligence, audit, transaction advisory, investment banking, or related M&A environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex financial information
• Demonstrated ability to manage client engagements and lead teams
• Willingness to travel periodically based on business needs
