Fine-Dining Cook/Server for Senior Living (Full-Time)

Our menu is rich in options and carefully selected by our chefs, a perfect pairing for your outstanding meal preparation skills. Shift Details: We are seeking a Cook/Server for the following schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 12:00pm to 7:30pm . This role will involve cooking duties on Sundays and Mondays, and serving responsibilities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please be aware that scheduling and responsibilities may be adjusted throughout the course of employment, with appropriate notice provided. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain a positive working relationship with all residents, resident family members, and associates. Maintain a high degree of resident and guest satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality services. Effectively and appropriately communicate with each co-worker and community leader. Prepare and present meals according to the planned menus, accommodating special diets, in a fine dining style. Performs prep work for upcoming meals and events. Completes food inventory on hand, accounting for usage and deliveries. Maintains refrigerator and freezer in a clean and organized manner as well as proper temperature control, ensuring proper food temperatures for hot and cold items. Assure foods are prepared, stored, and labeled according to proper kitchen and food procedures. Always ensure only food serving items are present in and around the serving station. Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to department procedure. Complete and adhere to all other tasks and responsibilities set by the direct supervisor. Qualifications, skills, and abilities: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) One to two years of related work experience preferred SERVE Safe Certified (or able to achieve certification) Ability to read and write in English Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to safely handle food in accordance with facility policies and procedures, as well as all state and federal regulations.
