Cook Position

Harney District Hospital is looking to hire a full-time Cook to join the Dietary Team. This position starts at $17.89 and increases based on experience. Job Qualification Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements: Knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques and food safety requirements, basic math skills, general record keeping methods, ability to read and write in English language. Equivalent to a high school education, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.

Special Requirements/Licenses: Must possess Oregon Foodhandlers card within 30 days of appointment.

Desirable Requirements: Previous cooking experience in an institutional or similar environment. Possession of Oregon Foodhandlers card at time of appointment. Knowledge of basic computer skills, or ability to learn.
