Domestic Relations Attorney

Domestic Relations Associate Attorney *Mizak & Pacetti, LLC | Ohio | In-Office* About the Role Mizak & Pacetti, LLC is seeking an experienced Domestic Relations Associate Attorney to join our growing family law practice. This is an in-office position for an attorney who is ready to manage a substantive caseload, appear regularly in court, and provide skilled representation to clients navigating divorce, custody, support, and related domestic relations matters. Responsibilities * Manage a caseload of domestic relations matters from intake through resolution, including divorce, dissolution, child custody and parenting time, child and spousal support, and post-decree modifications * Represent clients at hearings, pretrials, mediations, and trials in Ohio domestic relations and juvenile courts * Draft pleadings, motions, agreed entries, separation agreements, shared parenting plans, and related legal documents * Conduct client consultations and maintain clear, consistent communication with clients throughout their matters * Conduct discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, depositions, and financial disclosures * Negotiate settlements and collaborate with opposing counsel, guardians ad litem, and other professionals involved in domestic relations matters * Maintain accurate and timely billing records and case documentation * Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management Qualifications * Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school * Active license to practice law in Ohio, in good standing * 25 years of experience practicing domestic relations/family law, including court appearances and case management * Strong working knowledge of Ohio domestic relations law and local court procedures * Excellent written and oral advocacy skills * Strong client management and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and high-emotion matters with professionalism and empathy * Ability to manage a busy, independent caseload while collaborating effectively within a team environment * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Compensation & Benefits * Base salary: $90,000 per year * Performance bonus: Eligible for performance-based bonus * Health insurance stipend * Paid time off * Full-time, in-office position How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and writing sample to [insert application email/contact]. _Mizak & Pacetti, LLC is an equal opportunity employer._ Pay: $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * Paid time off Work Location: In person by Jobble
