Job Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Database Analyst in the Professional Services industry, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Database Analyst will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision‑making within our team. This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and requires advanced expertise in Power BI. Responsibilities Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to cater to business needs. Manage and create paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder or other reporting tools, ensuring they are optimized and meet user needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power BI solutions. Refine Power BI queries and datasets for performance and efficiency. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and dashboards. Work with IT and data engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of data sources into Power BI. Present data findings to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards that provide clear, concise, and timely insights. Leverage your skills in Microsoft Power BI and Data Queries to optimize our data analysis and reporting processes. Qualifications Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven work experience as a Database Analyst or a similar role in the IT department. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is a must. Strong knowledge in writing data queries. Demonstrated understanding of relational databases. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and presentation skills. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
