Details Med/Surg Tele unit setting Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week Weekdays and some weekends required Float required within the health system Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of RN experience required, with strong acute care background preferred Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Experience with respiratory care, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), nasal cannula, and oxygen administration Cardiac monitoring experience including dysrhythmia interpretation and management Experience with Rapid Response/Code team protocols IV therapy, phlebotomy, peripheral line care, and PICC line management experience Experience with isolation precautions and PPE Experience with neurological/psychiatric patients and substance withdrawal management 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or Supervisor and the second may be from a Charge RN; coworker references not accepted Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Locals accepted at the same rate Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility Current employees are ineligible for traveler positions at this health system RTO must be submitted with application and built into contract, limited to 7 days or less Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly after signing contract, as this is time-sensitive American Traveler Job ID P-768280.
