Job Opportunity: Licensed Audiologist
Are you a Licensed Audiologist seeking a fulfilling assessment role? Do you have a passion for supporting the Veteran community?
We are in search of an Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Veterans will submit their claims prior to your assessment, and all relevant medical records will be accessible through a digital portal for your review during the appointment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
- Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the computer portal, which serves as medical evidence for the VA's decision on benefits.
- Assess and review an average of 3-6 Veterans daily.
Please note that this role does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices.
ScheduleThis is an IN-PERSON position with a consistent schedule of three days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Each patient will receive between 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes of your dedicated time. There are no evening shifts, on-call duties, weekends, or hearing aid sales involved.
Qualifications- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an ASHA Accredited institution.
- Current Audiologist license.
- Malpractice insurance provided by our organization.
- Health insurance options available.
- Membership to ASHA Learning Pass for continuing education units (CEUs).
