This is a hands-on technical role with direct responsibility for provisioning, securing, and maintaining the systems our teams rely on. You'll drive improvements across Jamf, Intune, Azure, and our broader SaaS ecosystem. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, managing existing infrastructure from day one in a fast-paced, security-first environment.ResponsibilitiesProvision, configure, and maintain macOS, Windows, and mobile endpointsAdminister cloud platforms: Azure, GCP, Google Workspace, OktaBuild, maintain, and secure on-premises and virtual server environments (Windows Server 2019/2022, Linux) using VMware vCenterManage and improve MDM platforms (Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune)Package and deploy software to Apple and Microsoft devicesAdminister Active Directory — Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain controller administrationProvide end-user support for laptops, mobile devices, SaaS tools, and authentication systemsManage Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, backup policies, and IAM/RBACTroubleshoot escalated corporate Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN and hardware servicesOversee infrastructure backupsDocument system configurations, procedures, and IT workflowsRequirementsSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision — recognizing workflow inefficiencies and independently planning and implementing solutions to get results5+ years as a IT systems administration (macOS, Windows, and mobile)Proficient in macOS, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022, Linux, iOS, and Android5+ years experience with MDM (Jamf Pro and/or Intune), SaaS tools, and cloud identity systems (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID)PowerShell, Bash, or automation scripting experienceProven hands-on experience building and configuring Windows Server environments — bare metal or VM provisioning in VMwareActive Directory administration: domain controller operations, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP managementExperience managing Azure VMs, networking, storage, and IAM/RBACExperience supporting corporate networks: firewalls, DNS, VPN, Wi-FiSkilled in enterprise software deployment and packagingExperience with VMware vCenter and familiarity with Parallels DesktopExperience using AI-assisted tools to improve IT operations, troubleshooting, documentation, and workflow automationExcellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skillsRelevant hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical field (degree or equivalent experience)Must be able to work from our Redwood City office (2–3 days per week)Must be a US CitizenPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experienceMicrosoft AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate certificationJamf Certified Tech/Admin or Okta Certified Professional/AdministratorFamiliarity with SAML, SSO, or enterprise security frameworksExposure to compliance-focused or regulated environmentsSalary Range $115,000 - $120,000 Plus Bonus Individual pay will be determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Authentic8 Core Values & Principles:Integrity: We apply our best efforts.
