Your future role at a glance Location: Murfreesboro, TN Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Department: Med Surg Schedule: Weekend How you'll make an impact in this role Personal Care & Comfort: Foster a respectful healing environment by assisting patients with essential personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure comfort and dignity. Safety & Mobility Assistance: Enhance patient recovery and safety by aiding with careful movement, positioning, and transfers as directed by the clinical team. Clinical Observation & Reporting: Serve as a vital observer for nursing staff by promptly identifying and reporting any changes in a patient’s physical, mental, or emotional condition. Documentation & Environment Maintenance: Maintain accurate clinical records of care activities while ensuring patient rooms remain orderly and medical equipment is functional and ready for use. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
