Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Monitor and assess the condition of neonates, identifying and responding to changes in patient status
• Implement and support infant-driven feeding practices in accordance with unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Float within scope of practice to support unit needs as required
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Registered Nurse license in Virginia (must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and must be current at time of submission
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding certification required (may be submitted with certification pending)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
