Senior Buyer (Onsite - Kenosha, WI)

This isn't a transactional purchasing job. You'll be: Leading sourcing strategy across key commodities; driving cost, quality, and delivery improvements; influencing inventory strategy and production continuity; partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance; mentoring buyers and helping shape best-in-class procurement processes? Your decisions will directly impact production performance, customer satisfaction, and bottom-line results.

As a Senior Buyer, you will: Lead strategic sourcing & supplier selection; drive materials planning & inventory optimization; analyze demand, costs, and market trends; champion supplier performance & relationships; serve as a team leader & mentor; partner with operations to solve real-time challenges.

We want someone who brings both technical strength and leadership mindset: 5-7+ years in purchasing, materials planning, or supply chain; experience in manufacturing or distribution environments; strong ERP experience (JD Edwards a plus); knowledge of MRP, JIT, Kanban; ability to read engineering drawings & build "should-cost" models; advanced Excel skills + data-driven decision-making. Bonus: SQL knowledge or supply chain certifications (CPP, CPPM).
