Responsibilities

• Manage lines and cables to secure crane rigs to and from barges/vessels
• Conduct inspections of cables and rigging components on the crane deck
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Provide directional signals to crane operators
• Lubricate crane buckets
• Assist in drafting barges
• Operate barge covers
• Perform general rigging and shifting of barges
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards on decks, barges, and ship holds
• Work with hand tools
• Perform painting and general upkeep of the crane rig
• Maintain crane shack/quarters
• Report incidents through company's reporting protocol
• Support company safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Knowledge of crane operations and maintenance preferred
• Experience with hand tools
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
