Position: Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, meeting with prospective customers, presenting the company’s products and services, preparing proposals, and closing sales. The representative will build strong customer relationships while achieving company sales and profitability goals.

The ideal candidate is motivated, professional, organized, and comfortable working directly with homeowners and other decision-makers.

• Generate new sales through company-provided leads, referrals, networking, follow-up, and self-generated opportunities.

• Meet with customers at their homes or businesses to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.

• Conduct professional product presentations and explain product features, benefits, warranties, pricing, and financing options.

• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and contracts.

• Follow up consistently with prospects and customers.

• Negotiate within company guidelines and close sales.

• Maintain an active sales pipeline and work toward monthly and annual sales goals.

• Develop referral and repeat-business opportunities.

• Provide a professional and positive customer experience from initial contact through contract signing.

• Clearly communicate expectations regarding products, pricing, installation, scheduling, and payment.

• Respond promptly to customer questions and concerns.

• Maintain strong relationships with customers, builders, contractors, designers, and referral partners.

• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the company CRM.

• Document appointments, proposals, follow-ups, and sales activities.

• Attend sales meetings and training sessions.

• Provide accurate information to the operations and installation teams.

• Ensure contracts and required paperwork are completed correctly and on time.

The Sales Representative will be measured on:

• Monthly and annual sales revenue

• Gross profit/margin

• Closing percentage

• Number of appointments and qualified opportunities

• Follow-up activity

• Average sale value

• Customer satisfaction

• Accuracy and timeliness of paperwork

• New customer and referral generation

• 5+ years of sales experience preferred.

• Home improvement, construction, windows and doors, roofing, remodeling, or related industry experience preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Strong negotiation and closing skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

• Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and basic computer applications.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Base salary and/or commission structure based on company compensation plan.
