We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Steel Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and detailing Buckling-Restrained Braces and will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed shop drawings, assembly diagrams, and other documentation necessary for fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed structural, shop and assembly drawings for Buckling-Restrained- Braces. Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other design professionals to interpret structural plans and resolve any design conflicts or discrepancies.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable codes.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency in detailing deliverables - including software development.
• Identify potential issues or challenges in the design or detailing process and develop effective solutions to address them.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to understand project requirements and provide input on design and fabrication considerations.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications or specialized training are advantageous.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in structural steel detailing, with a proven track record of producing accurate and detailed drawings.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Revit) and familiarity with structural steel design and detailing principles. Experience with BIM tools is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve design issues and discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects Problem-solving abilities with a focus on finding practical solutions to technical challenges.
