Office Manager- Walk In Clinic and Specialties

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Walk In Services and Specialties leadership team in the role of Office Manager.

Provides operational supervision for all office responsibilities of the clinics including adequate staffing, workload distribution, patient scheduling, accurate registration, timely financial counseling, accurate records maintenance, efficient chart prep, accurate and appropriate charge entry and general office management to meet the needs of the department and facilitate patient flow. Requires travel between designated facilities. Assumes responsibility for implementing process improvements and assists in evaluation and training for office personnel. Acts as a liaison between the clinicians, patient, management team and revenue cycle services. Performs other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.

This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday day shift supporting a 7 day/wk operation. Previous healthcare and leadership experience are preferred.

Reports to : Medical Group Administrative Director

Direct Reports: 39

Key Relationships : Primary Care, Visiting Specialties (outside of IUH Health)

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

* High School graduate required. Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience preferred.
* 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
* One-two year's management experience preferred.
